Junior Program
Our junior program gives children and teenagers the opportunity to spend some summer days with their friends after school has ended, learn the rules and etiquette for golf, and enjoy time learning a new sport or practicing in one they love! Lunch is offered after both programs up in the clubhouse for $8.00.
The junior program meets on Mondays throughout the summer, and begins right after school gets out in June. Children ages 8 to 18 (as of April 1st, 2025) are welcome to join us for a summer of fun.
Membership
If you have signed up for a family membership, the children under that membership are included in the Junior Program already! If you do not have a family membership, your child will have access to the golf course whenever they'd like for just $200.00. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
We are very grateful to have such wonderful volunteers that help out with the junior golf program, such as Al Mydlinski who is a long time member and thoroughly enjoys teaching children and teens about a sport that he is so fond of. Even though he graciously runs this program, we still urge anyone interested in volunteering to help out with the kids in the golf program to speak with Club Manager Heather Mooney, or speak to Mr. Mydlinski himself.
Schedule for Monday Junior Golf
Golf will begin on June 16th and be held every Monday morning through August 18th.
Kids: Age 8-12
9:00am - Instruction begins on the putting green; split groups will focus on one of three different skill sets: putting, chipping and swing mechanics
10:30am – Golfers will be split into groups, and sent with instructors to play the course
11:00-11:15am – Children will return to the clubhouse, where lunch will be served to those that pre-ordered upon arrival
Kids: Age 13+
8:00am – Golfers play the course, all beginning on the first tee
10:30am – Golfers meet on the putting green for instruction on putting, chipping, and swing mechanics.
11:30am – Golfers will return to the clubhouse, where lunch will be served to those that pre-ordered upon arrival
